I decided to play around with the Nail Rock nail wraps that were in my November Glossybox (you can see my video on that here) I've tried the wraps before in the black and white stripes and loved them, although they didn't last very long. This time I've applied the polka dot pattern, and put my trusty Seche Vite UV topcoat over to see if it makes them any more long wearing. I think these kind of things are good for a night out or an event but don't tend to stay around as long as they claim. We shall see!
In other news my boyfriend Matt that some of you have seen in the videos I make on my personal channel has finally made a blog. I think he is generally quite witty, but then again I'm biased. He's going to be writing about the music industry (he works at an indie label) general life observations, maybe a bit of technology (probably mac related) and I may make the odd appearance there if we do something fun. You can follow it here if you like. Comments should be enabled tomorrow.
Ps serious cool points for anyone that recognised the Miley Cyrus reference in the title. Yeah, I can hoedown throwdown like a pro.

Love the nails. :) I had a look at Matt's blog and I really like it. He is indeed as articulate and witty as he says in his bio-bit. :) I have bookmarked his blog as I don't understand the RSS or whatever it is. :) Shall check back frequently. x
The nails are really cute. It's a great, easy way to get nail art. I recently tried shellac & I'm loving it. I can't wait to try more nail stuff like this.

I definitely noticed the Hanna Montana reference here, Gemma! Glad I'm not the only one who secretly (or not so secretly) has love for kiddie shows! Also, I've used the Sally Hansen nail wraps and they last a good full week!

I'm still yet to try nail wraps! All the ones I've got in my beauty boxes have gone towards christmas beauty bundle pressies for my sisters!

I bought the same nail wrap design a while back and they barely lasted a day! It could be my application technique though. My nails were too slim so I had to cut them in all directions to get it to fit. They do look pretty at first though :)
Ive tryed them before but have seen them around alot.
