In Friday’s post, I told you that I had the Anniversary Joliebox in my possession, and today I can finally show you it’s contents! This month marks the first anniversary of Joliebox and also the first month that boxes are customised or tailored to a subscribers skin needs. You might notice that I have two boxes to show you today, so you can see the variation of the products and also how the same product has been tailored to different skin types. If you are a Joliebox customer, you will start to receive customised boxes (providing you have filled in the Beauty Profile on the website) which is great! The anniversary boxes have two designs by different designers. Mine were both the orange one by Och Studio but you can see the alternative design in the first photo. I love this one!
Here’s what was in the boxes this month:
Elysambre - Discovery size product from their makeup or nail ranges. - This paraben-free, all-natural range have supplied a few different options to Joliebox this month. I got a lipbalm made from shea butter and castor oil in one box and an eyeliner pencil (white) in the other box. Both are items that I use regularly (white liner is great for brightening up the waterline) so these will come in handy.
Institut Esthederm UV inCellium Spray OR Bronz Repair Body Lotion - I’ve heard great things about this brand (apparently Millie Mackintosh of MIC fame swears by their fake tan) but it is very pricey, so it’s nice to try these in a smaller size. The inCellium Spray is a Pre-Tanning treatment to boost defences and help prolong your tan and the Body Lotion helps relieve damage caused by the sun and gives a healthy glow. I’ll look forward to testing these on holiday.
L’Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream - I’ve already reviewed an item from the Angelica line here, and since I’m a big fan of L’Occitane as a brand I was pleased to see this, I love skincare! This is lightly fragranced and feels fresh on your skin, great for overnight bags or travel!
Yon-Ka Pamplemousse Protective and Vitalising Cream for Normal/Dry Skin OR Normal/Oily Skin - Really nice to see the Beauty Profile at work and it’s good that people got the same item in different skin types so that boxes weren’t worth differing values. I used the last Yon-Ka sample I got in a Joliebox and loved it so looking forward to trying more from this brand.
*Extra – Joliebox Nail File - A cute extra that will stay in my handbag since I’m always losing mine!
Overall I’m really impressed with this box. I love the designer collaboration, the limited edition external boxes, the customisable box will please many people I’m sure and I think the products featured were well chosen and will all be used by me. Good work Joliebox and Bonne Anniversaire!
If you like the look of this box you can still order it on the Joliebox website.
