GOODBYES AND HOME BUYS
Hello! Have you forgotten me? I hope not. I haven’t turned this iMac on in a long time (for me) and I’ve got way behind on my to-do list. I’m sorry. I was meant to have the winners from my holiday giveaways posted on Wednesday and a new giveaway up but I have skipped a week and that will be this Wednesday. You’re probably all sick of hearing about moving this, moving that, but it’s honestly taken over my brain recently! I have pretty much moved to London now. I’m writing this hunched over on my bedside table because my desk is in the new flat and all my makeup is down there (yep!) already. The furniture is all in and I’ll be driving down on Friday in my little black car to start my new life. Pretty exciting and I don’t feel like it’s real yet, I don’t think it’s sunk in. This whole moving malarky has meant I’ve become consumed by interiors. I’ve never lived anywhere completely blank and empty before, so furnishing an entire place for the first time has been exciting and a bit daunting, I know how I want it to look but spacial constraints mean I can’t have all the furniture I want and the financial aspects of furnishing everything at once mean, well…I can’t have all the furniture I want. Ikea has gone from being the shop I enjoyed browsing to my new best friend, and although we have spent quite a lot of money, I think we have done a good job of using what we already have and finding inexpensive and space-saving ways to decorate. I’ll be doing a full series on this channel once I’m in, so subscribe if you want to see those, but today I just thought I’d share some home items that are still ‘Up North’ before they move to their new home.
1 – Bakery tin from H&M Home. I thought this was really cute and I plan on using it as a bread bin even though it’s small, as we will probably throw half the loaf in the freezer since there’s only two of us. I also have a breadmaker which makes smaller loaves that would be perfect for this and it would be very cute as a cake tin.
2 & 3 – I have developed a crush on cookware, if that is even possible, and these are my second and third Le Creuset purchases (first one here). I wanted to invest because I know they will last and I quite like the idea of buying mix and match colours. TK Maxx and Selfridges during sale time are great for good deals on Le Creuset.
4 – Storage sack from H&M Home. I got this to store vegetables in which I think it’s perfect for. This is actually the smaller size but it arrived much larger than I anticipated!
5 – Storage Jar from H&M Home. This also arrived dramatically oversized! I expected this to be small but it’s huge and makes me feel like I’m in Alice in Wonderland. Originally planned for this to be in the bathroom with cotton pads in but since it’s so big it will probably live in the kitchen!
6 – Trinket Box from an independent store in Portugal. This was one of my holiday buys and I love it for earrings and other little bits that usually get lost mysteriously.
7 – Bottles from an independent store in Portugal. These were more holiday buys and (once I get it!) I plan on putting these on my dressing table!
I can’t wait to show you guys around our new place and get settled in. Thanks for bearing with me!

Ooh, nice bits you’ve picked up there! There are some awesome charity shops in the two towns where I live, and so I always want to pick up some of the most amazing bits and bobs. But as I’m living with family, I can’t yet do that. A bit of a shame, but when I get a place of my own again at least I know where to get the best bits to make the place look more ‘me’
Love the buys from Portugal, look so pretty and those bottles are such a good idea for your dressing table. I have also never thought that h&m home did such vintage/original looking stuff-going to have a look now! Good luck with moving in xxx

There are actually quite a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That could be a great point to deliver up. I provide the thoughts above as basic inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you deliver up where crucial thing might be working in sincere good faith. I don?t know if finest practices have emerged around things like that, but I am certain that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impression of just a moments pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
