REMEMBER SPRING SWAPS SNOW FOR LEAVES

When the calendar rolled over to 2013 the new start made me feel like it was spring for a hot minute. It wasn’t. The snow (and my frozen toes) will attest to the fact that we are well and truly still in winter, but I can’t be the only one feeling like my home is a little bare since the Christmas decorations went into hibernation. I usually buy fresh flowers every week but I was yearning for something else in the living room that wasn’t a simple green plant. I plumped for these white Kalanchoe plants, otherwise known as Flaming Katy, and put them inside the flower pots I picked up from Ikea. It cost £12 for everything and it’s brightened up my view and brought me a little closer to spring…even if it’s still snowing.

This month’s Gold Sponsor is Mallory from Mallory Loves Makeup. She’s got an amazing YouTube channel here including a room tour with a swinging bed. Yep! Go check her out.
