BEST LAID PLANS

A few weeks into 2013 I still hadn’t picked myself up a diary/planner and man was it really showing. I tend to use the calendar app on my iphone for lots of things but I sometimes want to jot things down and there’s something nice about having it physically there all in one place. It’s also really awkward in a meeting when  you pull out your phone and start typing, you know that you’re making notes and jotting down dates and times but to your companion it looks like you’re bored and trying to unlock that extra achievement on Hay Day, am I right?

I took to twitter for advice, natch, and you all pointed me in the direction of The Magic Notebook who stock beautiful stationary and planners including the pretty Alice ones. I chose my diary, added it to my basket and got distracted before I checked out. Don’t pretend that hasn’t happened to you! As I was going to write something down later I kicked myself  but when my other half got home from work I was so glad because he came home brandishing this beauty – for free! Trust me when I say I could write a book (lol) on the benefits of having a boyfriend that works for a bookseller, and this time he came up trumps. This diary is based on the book of the same name by Ines de la Fressange which I need to check out.  I love the size, the colour, and the cute little tips/jokes and illustrations. It also has plenty of room for me to jot down what I need to do for the day as well as my notes.

The Parisian Chic weekly planner is published by Flammarion and is available for £12.95 delivered here.

This month’s Gold Sponsor is Mallory from Mallory Loves Makeup. She’s got an amazing YouTube channel here including a room tour with a swinging bed. Yep! Go check her out.

This is gorgeous Gemma! So pretty. This year I took a new step and bought a gorgeous purple Moleskine diary as I’m normally a Filofax user. I really love writing things down in a diary and I like to think it makes me a tad more organised. x

  12. An Unpleasant Truth Regarding Your Amazing Trx For Sale Vision

  13. Hey there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Thank you

Howdy! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when browsing from my iphone4. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to correct this problem. If you have any recommendations, please share. Many thanks!

Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
