L-R – Cuzco, Trinidad, Jaipur, Bamako, Bali, Samarkand.
The weather in the UK at the moment is more hot and cold than a Katy Perry song, so if summer needs to be on my nails and not outside my window, then so be it. You have to work with what you’ve got, ladies and gentlemen. The first time I laid eyes on the Mavala Chilli and Spice collection, let’s just say it did things to me. A brightly coloured collection inspired by far-flung destinations, there is something for everyone here. Mavala polishes are dinky but the perfect size if like me you have a drawer full of nail colours that look more like superglue than polish before you manage to use them up – 5ml is a nice manageable size. The formula is lovely and dries pretty quickly, so thumbs up from me. My personal favourites are Bali (hot pink), Bamako (green) and Samarkand (vibrant purple) and I’ll be sporting these this summer whether the weather follows suit or not!
Have you tried Mavala? What are your favourite shades?
