Yesterday is a bit of a blur now. I had some errands to run (replacing my lost car tax disc – don’t ask!) and then I dragged Matt home shopping and we did some serious damage in TK Maxx!
Matt made me breakfast – oatmeal with strawberries and stevia. It was way creamier than normal and I did think that was strange and then it transpired that he had used semi skimmed milk not almond milk. That’ll be why then!
Meals 2 & 3
We were HUNGRY so we decided to have lunch and a snack all in one. We had multigrain corn thins with philadelphia light, sundried tomatoes and olives and some pita chips with my homemade one minute healthy garlic dip. We finished it off with some fresh pineapple.
After a few hours of shopping and driving I was getting all sorts of HANGRY so I went into Asda to grab some water and a snack. I wanted something savoury and fruit wasn’t going to cut it so I looked for something that would keep me going but that wasn’t too bad. This little bag of pretzels was tasty and under 100 calories. Not the best nutritionally, but I was in the market for something salty and they filled a gap.
I was craving comfort food so we made Linda McCartney veggie burgers and some homemade sweet potato wedges. So good. So worth it!
