Feeling so good today! I woke up feeling so fed up and deciding to do #awesomeaugust and seeing the response on my last post has completely turned the day around for me. In case you were ever in any doubt as to how much your comments mean to me and how they affect me, this is when I tell you. Today I uploaded the first of my #awesomeaugust videos which you can watch here - I will be uploading on my health channel every day this month so don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t already. Please imagine a banana before the first photo, because I totally forgot to take a photo of it. Today I really enjoyed everything I ate. I made spicy scrambled eggs with veggies this morning and had two veggie sausages, it was more of a lunch than a breakfast and I had chipotle hot sauce and some of my one minute healthy garlic dip (recipe here). I had a mango in the sunshine which was lovely and then Matt & I decided to take advantage of the lovely weather and have a BBQ. I roasted some veggies and marinated some “chicken” (real for Matt, fake for me) and we tried out my latest obsession, low carb mash. I will share the recipe this week but suffice to say I’m in love. I also made some homemade guacamole and some homemade wholemeal tortilla chips but we were stuffed so I will probably have those tomorrow if Matt doesn’t beat me to it!
