Just looking at this makes me hungry! It’s currently 8pm and my food is almost ready so I would eat a cardboard box right now if I had a knife and fork! This was a tasty food day, let me tell you. It was the weekend, and I started off my day with my best.brunch.ever. You can read all about it here so I won’t harp on but suffice to say it was bloody amazing. I swear my diet is 80% bell peppers, and this breakfast is no exception. I can’t get enough of them.
I also experimented with some peanut butter and chocolate brownie bites. These are no ordinary brownies however, as they contain brown rice protein, heart healthy fats and no refined sugar. There will be a post on these very soon so watch this space, they come in at roughly 80 calories so they are perfect for taking to the gym for after a workout and they are so healthy you could even have one with breakfast. BOOM!
I finished off the evening with a healthier version of a burrito bowl. I had some leftover homemade chilli in the freezer, so I made some spicy quinoa and served it alongside the chilli, lettuce, my one minute garlic dip (told you I eat this with everything) and some guacamole that I added some Chobani to for extra creaminess! I topped it off with a little grated cheese and hot sauce and it was divine!
